The Bahá'í Community of Canada
The 30,000 members of the Bahá'í Community of Canada come from a wide
variety of backgrounds, representing Canada's rich cultural and ethnic diversity. Introduced to Canada in
1898, Bahá'ís feel at home in Canada because so many Bahá'í values are Canadian values:
Unity in diversity, world-mindedness, justice, the rule of law, human rights, responsibility for others,
fairness, equity, consideration for minorities, the value of freedom, and world citizenship.
